Would you like to actively participate in BILDRAUSCH as a volunteer? We need a lot of support before, during and after the film festival and are looking for many helping hands. We look forward to seeing you!
VOLUNTEERING AT BILDRAUSCH
We are looking for helping hands in various departments before, during and after the festival. You can register for your volunteer shift using this FORM.
Are you always friendly and upbeat? Then we would be happy to welcome you at the entrance to the movie theater or as an auditorium manager. You'll help with Q&As, hand out ballot papers and jump in when there's something to get.
You know your way around social media (Instagram / Facebook) and would like to record what's happening at the festival? Interview filmmakers and create interesting stories from them?
Do you enjoy providing our festival guests with the necessary refreshments? Help our service team with aperitifs, collecting glasses, working behind the bar and feeding the festival guests.
Do you like to lend a hand? Are you fit and not afraid of heights or picking up a hammer and screwdriver? To create a stimulating festival atmosphere, we need strong hands to set up and dismantle our locations.
Do you have a driver's license? We are looking for reliable volunteers to take our film guests from A to B.
Are you a tech-savvy person and good with computers? Can you install a projector or ensure that a laptop is displayed on a monitor? During the festival, we need volunteers to support us with the digital offer.
Do you like to get up early and spend the rest of the day at the Filmsfest? We need motivated early risers so that the festival is ready for the day.
In addition to German, do you speak English fluently? We are looking for companions for our two juries. You accompany one of the two juries throughout the festival, have their schedule in mind and support them where they need help.
Do you speak fluent English as well as German? We are looking for companions for our invited filmmakers from Germany and abroad. For example, you can pick up our guests from the train station and accompany them to the festival center or to their hotel.
Are you available on call, do you live near Basel and are you interested in all areas of work? Then you belong in the club of our spontaneous day heroes.
REGISTRATION & COMPENSATION

- 1 shift (approx. 4-6 hours = 2 free tickets, 2 drinks vouchers)
- 2 shifts (approx. 8-15 hours = 4 free tickets, 4 drinks vouchers)
- 3 or more shifts (from approx. 16 hours = festival pass, 2 drinks vouchers per entry)
