BARRIER-FREE ACCESS

Barrier-free access to the cinemas is guaranteed. The Stadtkino Basel and the kult.kino atelier can be reached from the SBB railway station by tram 2, 8, 10 and 11 to the Bankverein stop. There are parking facilities for people with reduced mobility in the immediate vicinity.

RESERVATION OF A WHEELCHAIR SPACE

There are two wheelchair spaces available at Stadtkino Basel (located next to the top row of seats). Please reserve a wheelchair space for the individual film screenings via kasse@stadtkinobasel.ch or by telephone on +41 61 272 66 88. Wheelchair spaces can be reserved directly online or at kult.kino atelier.

LINGUISTIC & ACOUSTIC ACCESSIBILITY

All films are shown in the original language and have English or German subtitles. Exceptions are noted accordingly in the program. For technical reasons, descriptive subtitles or/and audio description and voice over in German are only available for certain films at Stadtkino Basel.

AFFILIATION

The BILDRAUSCH FILMFEST BASEL aims to create a space for inclusion, participation and cooperation with this event. Filmmakers, visitors, helpers, employees and association members should be able to experience the film festival as a non-discriminatory zone - regardless of gender, sexual orientation and identity, physical and cognitive characteristics, religion, origin and nationality.

The BILDRAUSCH FILMFEST BASEL aims to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone - our visitors, the artists and our staff. We value openness, mutual respect and the protection of personal boundaries. Our basic principles are:

What should you do if you experience or observe an incident? Either report the incident directly to our staff on site or contact our director Samuel Steinemann.
