In 2025, we are focusing on the theme of 'Neighbours'. Living together in communities - whether in a house, a street, a neighbourhood, a city or a country - implies that we have neighbours, whether we like them or not. We observe each other, we talk to and about each other, we help and argue, we tolerate and avoid each other. Boundaries and rules are respected and disregarded. A vibrant neighbourhood is like a compass of our personal and social sensitivities. How much space do we give to ourselves and to others? How far do we reach out to one another?
CALL UP – SOUNDS & STORIES FROM YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!
For the Sounds of Neighbors performance, we are collecting sounds from different neighborhoods. A simple phone recording is enough. The Argentinian musician Daniel Almada will edit them and improvise live.
For the Stories of Neighbors collaboration, we are collecting unique, absurd and funny stories from different neighborhoods. Tell us your best story and RadioX will play the most absurd stories in a week-long series. You can send us your story in text form or as a simple phone recording.
