Trine does not fly. Period. Nowhere. Not at any price. It's a matter of principle. She is a musician, lives in the Lofoten Islands and Trine is an environmental activist. When she is invited to audition for the orchestra of the world-famous Oslo Opera, her idealism is put to a serious test and Trine has to make a decision. Should she turn a blind eye or will she be consistent? She has five days to get from the northernmost periphery of Scandinavia to the Norwegian capital. Trine sets off and hitchhikes. On her adventurous journey against time, she meets like-minded people, but also has to get involved in fierce arguments. On her journey through the breathtaking Norwegian landscape, she stops off at cowsheds, churches and gymnasiums. And this special journey is also a journey to herself. This multi-layered road movie is driven by unconditional idealism, passion and honesty towards oneself.
