The cycle of death and rebirth begins in a Buddhist temple in Laos and ends on a beach in Zanzibar. What lies in between is the death of an old woman and the birth of a goat. The transition turns out to be a psychedelic journey into an intermediate state, an experience of disappearing and reappearing.
Warning: Stroboscopic effects are used in the film. Epileptic seizures may be triggered under certain flash frequencies.

Lois Patiño
Lois Patiño's films are generally set in his home region of Galicia and are intended to evoke meditative experiences. To this end, the images are so emptied or paralyzed that the characters are almost absorbed into the landscape. His most radical film in this endeavor, and the first not set in Galicia, is SAMSARA.
